Remembering a Brother

It is with great sorrow and regret that the chapter informs you of the passing of Brother Brad Dixon '86. A husband, father, entrepreneur and an integral part of our Fraternities rebuilding effort in London, he will be greatly missed.

The Brothers would like to extend their condolences to Brad’s family and friends.

Remembrance Day

Like many other Fraternities across North America members of our Brotherhood fought bravely to defend freedom and liberty. It is with the highest regard and deepest sympathy that we remember our Brothers who gave their lives during the Second Great War.

Let us honour our Brothers by living by the oath that we all share and never forget their sacrifice.

The chapter would like to thank Brother Brooks Bennett for taking such amazing pictures this weekend! As well as all the Alumni who came and donated to the Chapter! Over $200 was given out in cash prizes via the 50/50 draw and poker game! We look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Pinning and General Chapter Meeting

All interested male university students. Please drop by the house tomorrow evening for our weekly meeting at 8pm. If you have some free time after, a bunch of us usually go out to Puck and wings for half priced wings.

Additionally, tomorrow evening we will be having our associate member pinning ceremony. If you have received a bid card from Delta Upsilon Toronto, please show up in formal attire, to annouce your acceptance of our bid, and be pinned as an associate member of Delta Upsilon Toronto Fraternity. Anyone who still has questions regarding membership please register and post in our new chapter forums located on the forum link, just to the left at the bottom of the navigation menu.

Alumni Poker Game

The Delta Upsilon Alumni Poker Game will be taking place at 294 Central Ave. @ 7PM this tonight. There is a $20 donation as well as 50/50 tickets being sold. There will be lots of food and drink so come early and stay late.

The U of T Sexual Education Centre will be at Delta Upsilon Toronto talking about, and informing you about everything to do with sex, sexuality, and sexual health. They will be offering free safer-sex supplies (get your annual supply of condoms HERE). They will also be providing educational talks in our engaging, non-judgmental social space in the living room. So please come by with all your questions, and you will be provided with answers - you can literally ask ANYTHING!!!

Doctors without Borders

Come out to enjoy a discussion about Doctors Without Borders. We will be watching a documentary about these real life superheroes. Also, special honoured guests will be coming out to talk to us about this amazing organization. Briefly, Medecines Sans Frontiere (MSF) is a worldwide humanitarian emergency relief organization. Similar to organizations like Red Cross, MSF responds quickly and efficiently to conflicts, natural disasters, etc.

We will hear about their work in Somalia, Libya, Haiti, and other less-fortunate areas of the world. More info can be found at msf.ca or doctorswithoutborders.org

There will be food and beverages courtesy of The Bedford Academy (the coolest hangout spot in Yorkville).
